Welp, I’m gonna give it a go - I’m gonna shoot some VLOGS. As a creative, it’s always interesting exploring new mediums and ways to share my experience. I have most of my body of work in photography, but have dabbled in print, audio, and just a liiiitllle tiny bit of video. All of my video practice in the past has been through music videos, interviews, and more documentary style stuff, so it makes sense to me to try to expand in this area to see where it goes.
I think this will be a cool way to bring folks into my days, my creative process, and hopefully share some cool stories and experiences. I’ve tried to share this with my field journals in the past, and I would love to continue those, but video is a dynamic form that lets people tap into a moment that sometimes can’t be captured with words and photos. I won’t get all wrapped around the axles on this, because I haven’t gotten too into it, but I couldn’t be more excited to give it a go. Yeehaw, should be a fun ride.
