Arete is a passion project and quest for functional, durable soft goods for everyday use. They’re over-built and purpose-built goods, just like they used to make em’.
Arete arose out of necessity - I couldn’t find a wrench roll that fit my set, and they were all made poorly. How could that be so hard to find? So I bought a machine and made one myself - and realized there were so many things in my life that weren’t up to snuff. From a tool roll to bike bags, backpacks, dog jackets, and more I’m slowly working through these softgood problems - with purposeful design, bombproof construction, and only the best materials available.
*In stock items are generally proof of concept prototypes. They are built well and are fully functional, or I won’t sell them - but they may have been used a time or two. Please send me a message if you want to commission an item.
